G8, Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission
Rory Winter
OpEd News
Monday, June 4, 2007

And while about the G8, world government and the Bilderberg Group, let's not forget Bilderberg's sister club, the Rockefeller-funded Trilateral Commission. While European conspiraloons tend to focus, quite understandably, on Bilderberg the Trilats are very rarely mentioned.

Bilderberg was founded, in the early 'fifties, as essentially an Atlanticist group meant to bring together capital's big business interests in Europe and North America. At the time it was feared there was a real danger that western European countries might adopt a neutralist outlook and, in consequence, be pulled into the hegemony of the Soviet Union. Hence, it was natural for the great and the good in both Europe and North America to conspire together in exclusive 'private clubs' like Bilderberg to prevent that from happening and to keep democracy (ie western capitalism) alive.

It was through no accident then, that the group gets its name from the Hotel de Bilderberg in Oosterbeek, Holland where it was founded with the late Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands as its figurehead.

The Trilateral Commission sprang from the Bilderbergers when one of its principal members, Esso or Standard Oil's David Rockefeller came into conflict with his fellows over whether to include Japan in the club. To introduce an Asian economic power into what was a club of rich Caucasians, it appears, was simply not on! So Rockefeller funded and set up the New York-based Trilateral Commission in 1973 with Zbigniew Brzezinski as its intellectual architect. Significantly, its inaugural meeting was held in Tokyo.

The Trilateral Commission has a strong working relationship with the Council on Foreign Relations, itself the sister group of the UK-based Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House). It is divided into three regional sectors, North America, Europe and Asia. Many of its members are also Bilderbergers with the same mutual interests for the development of globalization, the so-called economics of 'neo-liberalism' including wholesale privatization of anything that moves, the new world order and corporate capitalist totalitarianism.

When conspiraloons refer to the mysterious Illuminati it's easy enough to dismiss them as fanciful conspiracy nuts. The Illuminati appear to have existed in past centuries. The head of the Seventeenth Century Order of Freemasons, the Duke of Brunswick, once accused them of having infiltrated masonry using black magic, mesmerism and the art of suggestion to program victims.

“I have been convinced that we, as an Order, have come under the power of some very evil occult Order, profoundly versed in science, both occult and otherwise, though not infallible, their method being BLACK MAGIC, that is to say, electro-magnetic power, hypnotism and powerful suggestion. We are convinced that the Order is being controlled by some Sun Order, after the nature of the Illuminati, if not by that Order itself.”

(Source)

Whether or not the Illuminati still exist in name or in some other form, such as the masons, is an interesting question. But what is clear enough is that organizations like Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission not only fit the conspiratorial description given to the mysterious Illuminati but, in the more prosaic light of day, that it is they who actually deal with the nuts and bolts of manifesting the new, totalitarian world order.

So, to avoid being dismissed as a conspiracy nut or a conspiraloon (a term proudly used by blogger, Stef Zucconi in the face of supercilious sniggering from the MSM's whores) it makes eminent sense for activists to focus on groups such as Bilderberg, the Trilats and the CFR as the obvious conspirators whose history is there for anyone who cares to research it to see.

Anti-globalization activists are advised, therefore, always to refer to Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission in conjunction as complementary 'private clubs' behind the G8.

For these are REAL organizations whose raison d'etre is an ongoing conspiracy. The mainstream media dares not mention them because it would be more than its jobs are worth. The MSM work to promote them. Hence their conspiracy of silence about the conspirators.
But if you, too, are a conspiraloon who likes to do his or her own research I would recommend you to do a search for the "Trilateral Commission" using your searcher to find its website and reference in Wikipedia and so on.

Bilderberg Protest Covered On Turkish TV News

You Tube
Monday, June 4, 2007

The only U.S. media report this year about 200 of the most powerful people in the world meeting in secret was a single article in the Dallas Morning News - in terms of media freedom and journalistic muckraking, the Turkish press puts its cowardly and controlled American counterparts to shame.

What was discussed at Bilderberg?
Mehmet Ali Birand
Turkish Daily News
Tuesday June 5, 2007

I, too, attended the three-day Bilderberg meetings on the weekend. It took place under extensive secrecy and security. We were confined to the Ritz Carlton Hotel. There were nearly 100 participants. No one else was allowed into the hotel; not even one single outsider was let in. We went to sleep, got up, ate at the same place and held meetings one after the other from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

My head was full of questions before going into the meetings. The identities of the attendees were known beforehand. They were all very prominent people.

What could have happened when so many famous and important people got together? Of course, according to our conspiracy theories, scenarios had to be written and decisions had to be made. If one studied the articles in the media, he or she was left with an impression that even the Turkish president could be chosen at the meetings.

I settled in my room with this excitement. I wore my best suit, put on my most stylish tie, and went down…

My excitement intensified when I looked around me. I was surrounded by people who almost constantly made it in newspaper and television headlines.
I wondered what else I would experience once the meetings started. So I let the tide of Bilderberg carry me away…

I was dead-tired at the end of the three days.

I got out of one meeting to go into the next. I needed to participate, ask questions, and watch attentively. Everyone took the meetings seriously. Nobody would leave the sessions to go outside, stroll around, and have coffee.
On the last day, when I looked at my notes, I was completely disappointed. Where were the secret decisions? Where were the conspiracy theories? And were there not supposed to be decisions made about presidential elections and a coup attempt?

Where?

There were neither secret plans made, nor secret sentences uttered, nor secret decisions taken. It was no different than hundreds of other high-end international conferences I had attended.

There was nothing different except for the influence of the participants.
On the other hand, it was heaven for someone interested in international relations, just like myself. I got to breath the air. I learned a lot.
I would like to give a couple of examples:

We started at the developments in Iraq and went on to discuss China's place in the world. Would it be a single-polar world, or a multi-polar one?
How Iran's nuclear power would affect all of us was discussed in detail. Concerns on the issue were conveyed.

The developments in the United States, what the elections would bring, and how the public opinion in the United States was progressing was deliberated.
The most important issues facing the world, from energy policies to expansion in the communication technologies, were reviewed.

At the end of the three days, we have learned and discussed the world's most prominent problems with the world's experts.

Turkey in Bilderberg

Of course, Turkey was also among the subjects discussed during the meetings.

And in two different sessions... Important questions were asked. Where the Justice and Development Party (AKP) was taking the country and whether there was a probability of a coup were deliberated.

There were four questions about Turkey:Who would win the elections? Was there the threat of a system change to Islamic canon law?Would there be a coup?Would Turkey intervene in Iraq?

The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), the developments in Iraq, the Kurdish issue, and the events in northern Iraq were discussed in great detail.
I did not witness secretive plans or decisions. But I heard what the world's most prominent leaders thought about Turkey and their concerns. I saw how confused they were.

Most importantly, I saw that, at the end of the three days in Istanbul, their views about Turkey have become clearer and their knowledge of our country has deepened.

This is why holding the Bilderberg convention in Istanbul has proved to be beneficial for Turkey.

Complicit, Cowardly Corporate Media Hides Bilderberg

Barely a passing mention of meeting of 200 global powerbrokers in U.S. press
Paul Joseph Watson

Prison Planet
Tuesday, June 5, 2007

Number of mainstream U.S. news outlets that reported on Paris Hilton over the past week: 10,000+

Number of mainstream U.S. news outlets that reported on a meeting of nearly 200 of the world's most powerful people this past weekend; Less than a handful.

The Bilderberg Group meeting, an annual conference at which the consensus for future global policy is provably manifested, again passed by with barely a mention on behalf of America's corporate media.

The Dallas Morning News carried a single article about Texas Governor Perry's visit, a story that was subsequently picked up in brief blurbs by a couple of local Texas TV news affiliates and a few bylines on page 30 of a couple of papers in the lone star state.

Apart from that, save a mention in an online Village Voice blog - nothing, absolutely nothing about a confab of the most powerful and influential people on the planet. In comparison, G8 is a mere talking shop and yet it is lavished with attention while Bilderberg is hidden in the shadows.

Nothing in the New York Times and nothing in the Washington Post or the Wall Street Journal, both of which were represented at the meeting. Nothing in Le Figaro of France or the Financial Times of London, who also were both represented by chief editors.

Media moguls who attend Bilderberg, such as Washington Post CEO and Chairman Donald E. Graham, swear an oath of secrecy and fulfil a promise each year to omit any coverage of Bilderberg from their news outlets.
Is it really any wonder that the traditional media model is dying and that more and more enlightened people in their droves are turning to alternative news sources in search of the truth?

Even the Turkish media, hardly reputed as a bastion of free speech, put the U.S. press to shame with a deluge of newspaper and TV coverage of Bilderberg and the protest that accompanied it in Istanbul.

Bilderberg routinely claims that it is simply a private meeting and that no policy is set within the confines of the ring of armed security the group erects around its hotel of choice. Yet courageous researchers like Jim Tucker and Daniel Estulin have demonstrated year upon year that what is discussed at Bilderberg quickly becomes policy if not in the near-term then years down the line.

The BBC uncovered documents form a former Bilderberg member dating back to the early 50's betraying the fact that the European Union and the single Euro currency were both brainchild's of the Bilderberg Group.

At the 2005 Bilderberg meeting in Munich Germany, leaked talking points obtained from the speeches given at the conference indicated that Bilderberg expected oil prices to surge over the next 12 months, which is exactly what happened.

Bilderberg has a proven history of acting in a kingmaker capacity. Both Bill Clinton and Tony Blair attended before becoming President and Prime Minister and it was also reported that Bilderberg selected John Edwards as Kerry's running mate in 2004. Hillary Clinton was rumored to have attended last year's conference in Ottawa.

Bilderberg is not about signing treaties, trade deals or agreeing to topple certain foreign heads of state - it's about creating a consensus for its members to adhere by, and the way in which topics are presented by speakers makes it obvious what the agenda will be.

This veneer of distinction provides Bilderberg with the justification to claim they don't set any concrete policy, but only the most deluded and naive observer could dismiss the notion that hundreds of the most influential people in the world getting together and talking doesn't have some play in what we later see unfold as policy.

Bilderberg members expressed their alarm at the speed of which the rush to invade Iraq was being pushed by the American elite in 2002, and so they resolved to recommend any military action be delayed until 2003, which is exactly what happened.

This year, speakers expressed their "concern" about Iran's nuclear proliferation - which in Bilderbergese is a rubber stamp for war. Though the language is couched in the lexicon of international relations, make no bones about it, the orders are transmitted and followed.

Bilderberg is the closest thing you will ever get to the secret world government and no amount of sneering, whitewash or smear on behalf of the corporate media - many of which are represented at the conferences, diminishes that fact.

Comment:
I heard on local neo-con radio today, they want to introduce a new "CARBON TAX" of 10-15 cents a litre at the gas pump to fight Global Warming.
Oh ya, the radio station is owned by Ted Rogers, a Bilderberg delegate. Alex Jones has reported, from previous Bilberberg Meetings, the globalists will use the fake tax grab to form a global one world government, aka the New World Order.
Most people will think this is a great idea, but they are actually paying for their own enslavement. Diabolical isn't it?

Canada's Deep Integration Into a
North American Union

Dana Gabriel
Tuesday, June 5, 2007

It makes no difference if it is a Liberal or Conservative government in power because for the last 20 years plus both parties have been pushing for the same agenda of deeper integration with the United States. The same people who brought you the Canada-U.S. FTA and NAFTA are busy creating a North American Union.

The Signing of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) of North America would not have been possible without the tireless work of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives (CCCE) and the Independent Task Force on the Future of North America, which was co-chaired by former Liberal deputy prime minister John Manley. He is just one of many influential politicians and business elites who are working towards deeper integration.

Last week, the Governor of the Bank of Canada, David Dodge, said that a North American single currency was a real possibility. Both the FTA and NAFTA have lead to the corporate takeover of Canada where power, profit, and greed come before our best-interests. While other countries are distancing themselves from the U.S., Canada is doing the opposite. Defending Canadian sovereignty has been misinterpreted by many as protectionism and anti-Americanism.

The NAU agenda is moving forward despite no mandate, or any awareness from the general public. Deep integration and harmonization into an NAU could lead to Canada losing control over its own natural resources. This agenda is a full assault on Canadian institutions, it's culture, values, and its national sovereignty.

The CCCE was founded in 1976 and is Canada's leading business organization made up of 150 top executives. It is essentially a think tank dealing with public policy, which has intimate connections to both the Liberal and Conservative parties with many of their recommendations being implemented. They were one of the leading forces behind the development and promoting of the FTA and NAFTA and have called for the reinvention of North American borders, while pressuring the government to further merge our military and security with the United States. In April of 2004, they released the paper, “Building a 21st Century Canada-United States Partnership in North America.” It called for deeper North American integration and the need for more U.S. bilateral deals. Many of the recommendations put forth by the CCCE's own Security and Prosperity Initiative later became part of the SPP. People like its Chief Executive and President Thomas d'Aquino and John Manley have been hard at work, setting the stage for a NAU. They would have us believe that enormous benefits will be brought about through deeper integration. In a sense they are right-- some Canadians will benefit, but it will be the elite and multinational corporations, along with those who have connections-- not you or me. Some putting forth this agenda might even believe that they are serving the best interests of all Canadians, but their motivation is suspect and must be questioned.

After prime minister Jean Chretien stepped down in 2003, Manley announced his intentions to run for the leadership of the Liberal Party. He later dropped out, sensing defeat, and Paul Martin became leader and prime minister. Manley retired from politics and did not run in the 2004 federal election, but still had aspirations of one day becoming leader and prime minister. He has always been a strong proponent of deeper integration, and this has continued beyond his political life. As the minister of foreign affairs, he is credited with easing strained Canada-U.S. relations, and developed a good working rapport with Colin Powell and Tom Ridge. He was given the task of further securing Canada after the 9/11 attacks, and in 2001 was named Time Magazines “Canadian News Maker of the Year.”

In December of 2001, he met with Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge, and the Canada-U.S. Smart Border Declaration, a 30-point plan, was signed to ensure the secure flow of goods and low-risk travelers across the border. Some of the recommendations were common standards on biometric identifiers, shared custom data, and integrated border and marine enforcement. In June of 2002, they both met again to discuss the progress made.

In April of 2003, the Action Group on North American Security and Prosperity was created to further advance the process of deeper integration. The group was made up of many CEOs who met with Manley and Ridge to discuss new initiatives. In April of 2004, the CCCE held meetings in Washington D.C. to advance North American integration with Manley in attendance along with many CEOs and Condoleeza Rice.

In October of 2004, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) launched the Independent Task Force on the Future of North America, co-chaired by Manley with Thomas d'Aquino and Robert Pastor, considered by many to be the “Father of the North American Union,” as directors. In attendance at many of the task force hearings were some high-level Canadian politicians, including the public works minister Anne McLellan. Many referred to its agenda as NAFTA plus. In March of 2005, Manley's task force released, “Creating a North American Community,” with many of its recommendations becoming part of the SPP, also signed on the 23rd of that month. In May of that same year, the CFR, in association with the CCCE, published the report “Building a North American Community.”

It has been widely speculated that one of the reasons that Manley did not run in the November 2006 Liberal Leadership race was his further commitment to deeper integration.

In September of 2006, the North American Forum was held in Banff, Alberta, Canada and was a follow-up to the CFR's sponsored Independent Task Force on the Future of North America. There were no press releases or journalists permitted at the meetings.

Despite the lack of transparency, Manley who took part in the discussions said it was, “not part of a nefarious plan to yield sovereignty to the U.S. It was just some informed private citizens and government officials having a conversation.” In spite of his best assurances, it is a big deal when powerful, influential politicians, military leaders, and corporate elites meet in private to discuss plans to further advance a North American Union. The forum was co-chaired by former Alberta premier Peter Lougheed. Also in attendance was the CCCE's president Thomas d'Aquino, the minister of public safety Stockwell Day, Canadian defense minister Gordon O'Connor, and former Liberal deputy prime minister Anne McLellan, along with other prominent Canadians. American heavy weights included then secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld, Robert Pastor, and George Shultz, who also co-chaired the event.

Discussions centered around the borders, immigration, a North American energy strategy, national security, and the integration of military command structures. They also discussed ways to keep the agenda of deep integration secret. It is only because of documents released through the Freedom of Information Act that we have this knowledge.

Ron Covais, an executive for Lockheed Martin who attended the meeting, stated in reference to the SPP, “we've decided not to recommend any things that would require legislative changes because we won't get anywhere.” It is through working groups and executive agencies that deep integration into a NAU is being achieved. By putting the power in the hands of bureaucrats, oversight is being avoided, along with the scrutiny and debate legislation would create. These meetings are a perfect illustration of the shear arrogance and total disregard the global elite have for the people. This was a turning point for many Canadians waking up to the NAU agenda-- it was a realization that they were being betrayed by their own leaders.

The NAU agenda is stripping down sovereignty with the democratic process and power being removed and handed over to the corporate elite.

Globalization is still very unpopular throughout the world as many support national sovereignty. The global elite know that the NAU will be a tough sell, but they are patient, confident, and committed to this agenda to the bitter end. Deeper integration and further deregulation and privatization will be devastating for most Canadians, but will benefit the global elite.

It is clear that some in the Conservative government, including prime minister Stephen Harper, support deeper integration. The obscure, but relevant Canadian Action Party and its leader Connie Fogal have been busy exposing the NAU.

As of late, the NDP have been speaking out against it as well, most notably it's trade critic, Peter Julian, who was responsible for the recent hearings held on the SPP. The Green Party also recently warned of the SPP and a hidden agenda for Canadian water.

The silence of the Liberals and Conservatives is traitorous. Complacency is inexcusable, and even those not actively participating in this process will be held responsible for the destruction of a sovereign Canada.

It is time for Canadian politicians to come clean on where they stand on the North American Union.

Taxpayers Blast
3-Nation Union Plan

Kenneth White, President
Virginia Taxpayers Association

6-5-7

The Virginia Taxpayers Association says No one should support a presidential candidate of either party who does not strongly oppose the dangerous North American Union already being implemented.

The powerful bipartisan Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) announced May 24 (http://www.WorldNetDaily.com) that it will present a report to governments of the United States, Mexico and Canada Sept. 30 on benefits of integrating the three nations into one political, economic and security bloc.

CSIS played a large role in passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement in 1994, which resembles early stages of the European Community on its way to becoming the European Union.

Rep. Virgil Goode, R-5th., introduced House Concurrent Resolution 40 Jan. 22, which declares

(1) that the U. S. should not engage in a NAFTA Superhighway System,

(2) that the U. S. should not allow creation of a North American Union, and

(3) that the President should indicate strong opposition to these acts or any other proposals that threaten sovereignty of the United States.

The VTA pointed out that the Bush administration has refused to disclose any information on the North American Union to Congress, despite the fact that scores of employees in the State, Commerce, Labor, Treasury, Transportation, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services Departments and Department of Justice, are already working full time with their coordinates in the governments of Mexico and Canada to bring the NAU into fruition.

In fact the extremely controversial immigration bill now before Congress backed by Bush specifically cites the Security and Prosperity Partnership Agreement (SPP) signed by Bush and his counterparts in Mexico and Canada Mar. 23, 2005, which is a blueprint for building a European Union-style merger of the three countries of North America.

A major element in the NAU is introduction of a new common currency, the Amero, designed to replace the dollar after international value of the dollar falls so seriously under present trends that it will be obvious to everyone that something has to be done to keep the U. S. economy afloat.

The VTA added that it's clear the reason Bush is refusing to enforce the law against illegal immigrants crossing our borders is that under the North American Union, which he is bringing into being, there are no borders and no immigrants, whether legal or illegal.

A still more gigantic action Bush has taken, with relatively little notice in the media, is signing a new transatlantic economic partnership between the U. S. and the European Union (BBC, Apr. 30) that will see regulatory standards "harmonized on 40 areas, including intellectual property, financial services, business takeovers and the motor industry. This will lay the basis for merging the U. S. and the EU into one single market, a huge step on the path to a new globalized world order.

On a related matter the VTA said: Possibly the most dangerous step Bush has ever taken is signing of the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive (NSPD-51) and (HSPD-20) on May 9 that grants near dictatorial powers to the office of the president in the event of a national emergency as declared by the president, (Jerome Corsi,1-hour interview,C-SPAN 5/25/07, http://www.WorldNetDaily.com).

The directive loosely defines "catastrophic emergency"any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U. S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions.

Not only is the power of Congress to terminate emergencies not mentioned in this directive, as it is in the National Emergency Act, U. S. Code Title 50, Chapter 34, Subchapter II, Section 1621, (nowhere referred to in the directive) but the White House press officer made no comment whatever when asked about it.

When the president determines a catastrophic emergency has occurred, he can take over all government functions and direct all private sector activities until the emergency is declared over by the executive, so all conditions of a dictatorship are now in effect.

An allied event, the VTA said, is the annual meeting of the powerful international Bilderberg Group this past weekend in Istanbul, Turkey, which makes plans on how the prinicipal nations will be brought into a New World Order. Sessions of the secretive group are usually not reported by U. S. media, although they are regularly attended by top executives of the Washington Post and Wall Street Journal and foreign media as well as officials of the Bush administration, selected members of Congress, leaders of the largest financial institutions, multinationals, defense manufacturers, energy companies, David Rockefeller, Kissinger and the Rothschilds.

A top objective of the Bilderbergers, exposed by intrepid investigators James P. Tucker and Daniel Estulin, continues to be an international United Nations carbon tax, imposed without any approval by national legislative bodies, to finance a UN military force, This will get heightened attention in the coming year, yet most Americans and members of Congress are totally unaware of these dangerous plans.

Public understanding of the present U. S. situation, the VTA said, is impossible without recognition that 9/11 was an inside job, as inadvertently admitted by Rudy Giuliani May 29 when he said, "No one that I know of had any idea (the towers) would implode (Drudge Report, WNBC). Fires started by aviation fuel, which is a form of kerosene, could never have achieved explosive force that finally collapsed the towers in a matter of seconds.

"Dr. Steven Jones, internationally known physicist, formerly of Brigham Young University, has founded The Journal of 9/11 Studies, which already contains more than 50 articles by physicists, chemists, engineers and other scientists demonstrating by scientific analysis of actual broken sections from the towers steel columns that only pre-placed thermate, which is a combination of iron, aluminum and sulfur, could have cut through the massive columns so precipitously."

North American SPP -
Reading Between The Lines

Regarding the SPP News Release below -   SPP - "..members of the Coordinating Body/the North American Plan on Avian and Pandemic Influenza by June 2007."

"We welcomed the progress achieved to date on the Smart, Secure Border agenda"?

What's that and how come the American people know nothing about it?

No doubt we won't be told a thing until the process is far along. We're almost at death's door.

"North American plan?"

We have no relief in the House for impeachment and even if we did, the alternative is Nancy Pelosi, a fate I consider worse than death.

The Department of Justice is thoroughly corrupt with truly evil man at the helm, so no relief from AG Alberto Gonzales.

So many states are now out of session for the year. Here in Texas, our state legislature went out of session last Friday and won't open the doors again until January 2009.

Our crook governor, Rick Perry, who got the Texas Trans Corridor going, was just at the Bilderberger meeting

What's the deal with focusing just on "North American Plan on Avian and Pandemic Influenza"? Why do they want this plan in place this month? Guess it's good timing for this Senate Amnesty Bill being hashed out in DC
"...3) border resumption in the event of an emergency" Now, what's that supposed to mean? The definition of 'resumption' is: the act of taking again or recovering something given up or lost.

"Energy integration?"

Aren't we already paying through the nose for heating, A/C and gasoline? Just what is this integration supposed to involve and how much are we going to end up exporting to "more needed areas" while we get skinned for it. You watch.

Could it be the importing of another 100 million poor, sick and illiterate  from Mexico and South America who will sneak in with the rest bringing more diseases unchecked? Oh, boy, that's not very politically correct
Well, I guess we shouldn't be concerned because the hockey playoffs are on the tube and the sheep are working hard for Friday 5:00 pm so they can start playing. The American people are so foolish.

Statement by Ministers Responsibility for the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America

Ottawa - The Leaders of Canada, Mexico and the United States launched the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) to increase security, prosperity, and improve the quality of life for the citizens of each sovereign nation. Last March in Cancun, Leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the SPP and identified five priorities: 1) Strengthening Competitiveness through creation of a private sector-led North American Competitiveness Council (NACC), and enhancing regulatory cooperation; 2) Emergency Management; 3) Avian and Pandemic Influenza; 4) Energy Security; and 5) Smart, Secure Borders.

We, the Canadian and United States Ministers responsible for Foreign Affairs, Security and Prosperity, are pleased to welcome our counterparts from the new Government of Mexico. We met today to review progress since the Leaders' meeting in Cancun and are pleased to report that progress has been achieved in a number of areas.

In order to ensure tangible results on the Cancun priorities:

· We requested that the trilateral regulatory cooperation framework meant to enhance competitiveness, while maintaining high standards of health and safety be finalized by the next Leaders' Summit.

· We directed the members of the Coordinating Body to finalize the North American Plan on Avian and Pandemic Influenza by June 2007.

· We established a senior level coordinating body to prioritize and oversee emergency management activities in the following areas: 1) emergency response, 2) critical infrastructure protection; 3) border resumption in the event of an emergency; and 4) border incident management.

· We welcomed the progress achieved to date on the Smart, Secure Border agenda, and called upon officials to develop additional recommendations for Leaders in this area.

· We took note of the progress achieved by Energy Ministers in implementing priorities identified by Leaders in the areas of innovation, energy efficiency and technology development, and energy market facilitation, and look forward to further progress in advance of the Leaders' meeting.

For the next Report to Leaders, we have tasked SPP working groups and coordinators with revitalizing and streamlining their work plans to ensure that initiatives are more focussed and results-oriented. We discussed the importance of transparency and communication with stakeholders and the public, and directed officials to expand their efforts in this regard. We also asked officials to pursue greater coordination amongst various working groups and initiatives in recognition that many issues cut across security and prosperity.

We thank the representatives of Canada, Mexico and the United States of the NACC for their dedication and commitment, and for their report on enhancing competitiveness. We note their recommendations in the areas of border crossing facilitation, standards and regulatory cooperation, and energy integration. Our respective governments will review the report and consider carefully its recommendations in preparation for the next Leaders' meeting. We will continue to work with the NACC and other stakeholders as we strive to make North America the safest and best place to live, invest and prosper.

Building on our strong partnership, we recognize the importance of focussing on initiatives that will further competitiveness and quality of life in North America, and will continue to work together to successfully meet the security and prosperity challenges of the 21 st century. We will pursue this work to deliver tangible results and a focussed agenda to the Leaders at their next meeting in August 2007, in Canada.

Call To Action:
Protest Gov. Rick Perry's Involvement with Bilderberg, TTC and the Takeover of Texas
June 7 Demonstration at Governor's Mansion-- 11th & Lavaca in Austin, Texas

Protesters in the Austin, TX area will be joining together to demonstrate against Rick Perry's recent trip to Istanbul to meet in secret with the Bilderberg group on June 7. In short, the people are declaring Rick Perry to be a traitor in the Takeover of Texas-- from the Trans-Texas Corridor to the North American Union to mandating an HPV vaccine and privatizing TxU for the exclusive benefit of international banking firms and the Bilderberg group, Rick Perry has committed treason by selling off the assets of Texas.

Presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-TX) has stated that Perry's attendance at Bilderberg is "A sign that he's involved in the international conspiracy."

JOIN IN EXPOSING THE TREASON OF RICK PERRY-- A TOOL OF THE GLOBALISTS WHO HAS USED HIS OFFICE TO SELL OUT THE STATE OF TEXAS TO A HOSTILE TAKEOVER.

11th & LAVACA IN AUSTIN, TX OUTSIDE THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION FROM 7 P.M. TO 8 P.M.

Governor Rick Perry has joined forces with globalist powers and played a pivotal role in selling out Texas to foreign corporations and truly international interests.

His most recent attendance at the Bilderberg meeting in Istanbul, Turkey-- which was reported by Dallas Morning News -- is a case-in-point example that he has failed in his duties of office and betrayed the people he is supposed to represent. It is "a sign that he is part of the international conspiracy," according to Presidential candidate Ron Paul.

Governor Rick Perry's Bilderberg trip may be in violation of the Logan Act , which is meant to guard against collusion with foreign entities.

Rick Perry has been instrumental in facilitating the Trans-Texas Corridor, and continues to fend off very vocal opposition to the project. Perry now seeks to defeat a two year moratorium on the TTC, as he works tirelessly on for the construction of the Texas portion of the NAFTA superhighway that will link together Mexico, the United States and Canada in a series of trade routes, effectively erasing the borders.

Many argue that the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC) is necessary infrastructure for the emerging North American Union, as outlined by a C.F.R. publication calling for a North American Community and the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP.gov), which was signed by President Bush in 2005. The Trans-Texas Corridor corruption has also included handing off toll rights to Cintra, a Spanish firm owned by the King of Spain and other corrupt arrangements.

Energy has also been sold off in Texas, as Gov. Rick Perry helped force through the largest buyout in history-- the $45 billion leveraged buyout of TxU, led by Kohlberg, Kravis Roberts & Co. and involving Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse First Boston, all top financial firms deeply integrated into the Bilderberg group who seize and conglomerate assets worldwide.

That deal-- forged only months ago-- is already embroiled in an insider trading scandal that has already resulted in multiple charges of fraud and conspiracy against two high level Pakistani finance men, including an investment banker at Credit Suisse.

A further investigation has already unfolded with inquiries into Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, his financial minister and a number of other top bankers, who may be linked to insider trading over the Texas energy deal.

New "Security & Prosperity Partnership" Records Reveal Proposal for U.S.-Canadian Funded Grants for Mexico
Financial Work Plan, Agenda and Meeting Notes on Pandemic Influenza & Health Threats Made Public

WASHINGTON, DC-- Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, today released documents obtained from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, concerning the agency's involvement with the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.

A 10-page partnership "Work Plan for the Financial Services Working Group" is included (somewhat incongruously) among the Health and Human Service records. The "work plan" details 24 specific "deliverables" by officials from the U.S. Treasury, Finance Canada, BANXICO, the Federal Reserve Board - Atlanta, and regulatory agencies from all three countries. The deliverables include "cross-border" cooperation in the areas of car insurance, Social Security totalization for Mexico, banking, and Federal Reserve's "Directo a Mexico" remittance program.

Among the specific deliverables outlined in the "work plan" is a taxpayer-supported program to improve Mexico's infrastructure: "Improve North America's competitiveness by enhancing Mexico's competitive position through the establishment of a grant fund for development with U.S. and Canadian resources to finance the development of physical infrastructure in Mexico." The objective has a timeline for completion of 6-18 months.

"If U.S. tax dollars are going to be used to fund Mexico's economic development, the American people ought to know about it," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. "Judicial Watch remains committed to ensuring that this process is open and transparent."

The records also include planning documents and notes summarizing a SPP "technical meeting" held in Ottawa from January 31 - February 1, 2006 and titled, "Enhancing Preparedness Plans and Mutual Assistance for Pandemic Influenza and Other Emerging Public Health Threats in North America." The meeting did not include representatives from Mexico -- a fact the summary notes acknowledge and suggest will "require contacts at the national level first."

The documents also identify HHS personnel assigned to various SPP working groups. The designated working groups include: communications, legal, foreign nationals, epidemiology, and travel and border issues. (These documents are of particular interest given the recent scandal of the tuberculosis-infected American who recently traveled over the U.S.-Canadian border unimpeded by border authorities.)

PM, Bush, Calderon to meet in Quebec

Jun 15, 2007 02:45 PM
Canadian Press

WASHINGTON – The White House has confirmed that U.S. President George W. Bush will travel to Canada this summer to meet Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Mexican president in Quebec.

The announcement says Bush will be in Montebello, Que., on Aug. 20 and 21 to meet Harper and Mexican President Felipe Calderon.
The White House says the three leaders will discuss global and hemispheric issues at the North American summit.

News of the meeting first came out last month when it was reported that the summit would be held at a luxury rural hotel resort in Montebello.

Officials have said the three leaders are eager to change the impression that North America has turned inward since the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States, arguing that statistics don't reflect this.

The Immigration Debate:
Globalists vs. Nationalists

Merrill Cook
The Spectrum
Sunday June 17, 2007

Much of the local reporting regarding the immigration debate has focused on immigration rights groups, like La Raza versus illegal immigration opposition groups, like the Minuteman Project. While this has been a colorful, interesting - and, indeed - important conflict, the more significant battle underlying the immigration debate is between corporate America and America's middle class, or rather, between the globalists and the nationalists.

The current Senate Bush-Kennedy-McCain amnesty bill for 12 to 20 million illegal aliens is little more than an attempt to reward mass criminality. The provision in the bill for enhanced border security is "a spoonful of enforcement to make the amnesty go down." No one is surprised by Sen. Kennedy's commitment to amnesty.

The important question is: Why would the president of the United States and a number of leading Republicans in the Congress be so willing to stomp all over the conservatives and tear the Republican Party apart in their rush to be the architects of this so-called "Grand Immigration Compromise?" The answer lies in the ongoing fight between corporate America and America's middle class workers. This battle can also be characterized as a fight between those whose priority is globalization (the globalists) versus those whose priority is American sovereignty (the nationalists).

The political action committees (PACs) of America's largest companies, especially the multi-nationals, provide the bulk of the money to both political parties and particularly to the campaigns of members of Congress. The No. 1 priority of big business today is to have an endless supply of cheap immigrant labor and to avoid penalties for hiring illegal aliens in violation of current U.S. law.

The next most important (and related) priority of big business is to enable its labor force to move just as freely across national boundaries as trade and capital do. In concert with America's political and economic elite, big business wants a world without borders. Corporate America's fight to legalize America's 12 to 20 million illegal aliens is directly related to its desire to unify Canada, the U.S., and Mexico into a North American Union similar to the European Union. The ultimate goal is global governance and the withering away of national sovereignty. With the vastly lower cost of labor inherent in both of these big business priorities, corporate profits will soar, at least in the short term.

America's workers strongly opposed NAFTA and China's Permanent Most Favored Nation status. Both were promoted by corporate America particularly the multi-nationals. A trade surplus with Mexico at the time NAFTA was enacted has turned into a $1 billion per week trade deficit. The Permanent Most Favored Trade status for China enacted in 2000 has resulted in a $1 billion per day trade deficit! Even the most conservative estimates indicate a loss of at least 6 million American manufacturing jobs from these two pieces of legislation. These corporations in the words of Pat Buchanan, "Want to be rid of their American workers, but keep their American consumers."

America's current political leadership, in crafting the "Immigration Grand Compromise" currently in the Senate in return for campaign contributions from corporate America PAC, has exposed itself as a facilitator in the effort to sell America's middle class down the river. It's up to the people to rise up and stop it.

The Plan to Disappear Canada

Murray Dobbin
thetyee.ca
Tuesday June 19, 2007

If the machinations going on in this country regarding so-called "deep integration" were instead a communist conspiracy to take over the country (you will, of course, have to try hard to imagine this) the news media would be blaring the story.

Pundits would pontificate, editorialists would erupt, security forces would be unleashed.
Instead, a virtual conspiracy to make the country disappear through assimilation into the U.S. gets barely a mention.

But news of the scheme -- formally called the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) -- is finally breaking out of the secret chambers of the ruling elite and the federal government. This is both good news and bad. It's good that ordinary citizens are finally getting a glimpse of the betrayal of their country. The news is bad because it reflects just how much of this scheme is already being implemented.

Given the meetings of CEOs and politicians to advance the scheme politically, as well as all that must go into its actual implementation, there is simply too much activity to keep secret.

Ten dots to connect

Here are 10 developments in the plan to disappear Canada.

1) Pesticides 'harmonized.' The most thoroughly reported story (though even this did not go much beyond the CanWest chain) was the revelation that Canada was about to "harmonize" its regulations, setting limits for pesticide residue on fruits and vegetables. In 40 per cent of the cases, the U.S. allows for higher levels. Richard Aucoin, chief registrar of the Pest Management Regulatory Agency, which sets Canada's pesticide levels, said that Canada's higher levels were a "trade irritant."

The downgrading of health protection had been a NAFTA initiative, but is being "fast-tracked" as part of the Security and Prosperity Partnership. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Some 300 regulatory regimes are currently going through the same process.

2) Tory tirade. The next story that broke through the wall of media silence reported on the paranoid reaction of the Harper Conservatives to any criticism of the SPP. The occasion was hearings of the Commons International Trade Committee into the SPP, forced by the NDP.
Gordon Laxer, head of Alberta's Parkland Institute, was testifying on the energy implications of the SPP, warning that eastern Canada could end up "freezing in the dark." He had barely started when the chair of the committee, Conservative MP Leon Benoit, demanded that Laxer halt his "irrelevant" testimony. The Committee members overruled Benoit -- who promptly (and illegally) adjourned the meeting and stomped out. The NDP and Liberal members nonetheless continued without him.

3) Council of corporate power. The SPP initiative began in earnest back in 2002 with the Canadian Council of Chief Executives (formerly the BCNI), the most powerful corporate body in the country. It continues it leadership role, but does not promote the scheme just in its own name. It instead has helped create several supportive bodies that now help drive the agenda.

Included in these are the North American Competitive Council (NACC), which includes CEOs of the largest North American corporations, and which institutionalizes the exclusively corporate nature of the agreement. The NACC is the only advisory group to the three NAFTA/SPP governments.

4) Secretive summit. The NACC at least is public. But much of what happens in building the elite consensus for deep integration is done in absolute secrecy or very privately, away from the prying eyes of the media. The most secretive of these was held last year from Sept. 12 to 14, in Banff Springs. As The Tyee reported, the gathering was sponsored by something called the * and it was attended by some of the most powerful members of the North American ruling elite.

Attendees, according to a leaked list that could not be confirmed, included Donald Rumsfeld, George Schultz (former U.S. Secretary of State), General Rick Hillier, Defence Minister Gordon O'Connor and Minister of Public Safety Stockwell Day. The media was not informed of the meeting and it was first revealed by the weekly Banff Crag & Canyon.

Stockwell Day refused to even confirm he was there, but said that even if he was, it was a "private" meeting that he would not comment on. There is no better indication that these meetings, and the SPP itself, constitute a parallel governing structure -- unaccountable to any democratic institution or the public.

5) 'No fly' coordination. Canada will have its own "no-fly" list just like our U.S. "partner."
As the Council of Canadians pointed out: "The no-fly list is very much a Security and Prosperity Partnership initiative. 'The SPP Report to Leaders, August 2006' outlines 105 SPP initiatives. Initiative #93 states, 'Develop, test, evaluate and implement a plan to establish comparable aviation passenger screening, and the screening of baggage and air cargo (for North America).'"

Canada's privacy commissioner Jennifer Stoddart has raised a number of concerns about the plan including the fact that the list will be shared with the U.S., that "false positives" are a virtual certainty, and that there is no evidence put forward by the government that the list will improve airline security.

6) Bye, bye Canadian dollar? David Dodge, the head of the Bank of Canada, told a Chicago audience that a single currency for North America "is possible." That would see a big chunk of Canadian sovereignty and the ability to guide the economy through monetary policy go out the window. It's not the first time Dodge has mused about abandoning the Canadian dollar - or deep integration.

7) Water and oil giveaways. The deep integrationists clearly see Canadian water as a North American resource, not a Canadian resource. At yet another very private meeting, held in Calgary on April 27th under the auspices of yet another forum, it was made clear that water is on the table for negotiation.

Discussion of bulk "water transfers" and diversions took place at a Calgary meeting of the North American Future 2025 Project (partly funded by the U.S. government). The meeting based its deliberations on the false notion that Canada has 20 per cent of the world's fresh water. Actual available supply amounts to only around six per cent -- about the same as has the U.S.
The water (and environment) meeting was preceded by another on April 26th talking about "North American" energy. The beneficiary of these discussions is pretty clear when you realize Canada has no national energy policy. We are the only energy exporting country in the world without a one.
Gordon Laxer told the Parliamentary committee: "The National Energy Board wrote me on April 12: 'Unfortunately, the NEB has not undertaken any studies on security of supply.'" He was also told by the NEB that Canada does not maintain a 90 day energy reserve as other developed nations do. As Laxer points out, "Canada may be a net exporter, but it still imports 40 per cent of its oil -- 850,000 barrels per day -- to meet 90 per cent of Atlantic Canada's and Quebec's needs, and 40 per cent of Ontario's."

Canada exports 63 per cent of its oil production and 56 per cent of its natural gas, percentages that can never decrease under NAFTA.

8) NAFTA Superhighway. State governments in the U.S. are becoming increasingly alarmed at the prospects of deep integration. Earlier this year, Idaho became the first state to pass a legislative resolution directing the U.S. Congress to drop out of the SPP, which is referred to as the North American Union amongst U.S. opponents. Thirteen states in addition to Idaho are calling on Congress to abandon the SPP: Georgia, Arizona, Missouri, Illinois, Oregon, Montana, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Utah, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington and Virginia.

Part of the opposition is focused on plans for a so-called NAFTA Superhighway: actually a corridor several hundred metres wide including rail lines, freeways and pipelines from Mexico to the Canadian border. There is a growing grass roots movement against the SPP in the U.S., but led by the right over the issue of compromising American sovereignty.

9) Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement (TILMA). While U.S. states, concerned about state rights under an unaccountable "North American Union," are organizing against the scheme, Canadian provinces are either blithely unaware or knowingly complicit in the deal. More Canadians may be aware of TILMA -- the investors' rights agreement between B.C. and Albert -- than they are about the SPP, but in reality they are one and the same.

TILMA is major piece of the deep integration, deregulation imperative and fits hand in glove with the SPP. There is a similar, though more informal, process evolving in the Atlantic provinces, called "Atlantica." And B.C. is now pushing the so-called Gateway Initiative, a kind of regional superhighway project that will see huge and environmentally disastrous expansion of ports, highways and pipelines to further supply the U.S.'s insatiable demand for resources and cheap Asian goods.

10) The next SPP summit. The third leaders summit on the SPP will take place this August 21-22nd in Montebello, Quebec, not far from Ottawa. By the time it does many more Canadian will be aware of it.

Part of the reason that news of the SPP/deep integration issue is finally seeing the light of day is that opposition is growing and groups fighting the SPP are having an impact. The Council of Canadians, the CLC and the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives held an SPP teach-in in Ottawa last month and many civil society groups are now taking deep integration to their members. Demonstrations are planned for the summit. The NDP continues to press the government on SPP secrecy and the Green Party's Elizabeth May has said deep integration will be a focus of the party's election platform.
It is hard to think of any other issue in modern Canadian history, especially one that will literally determine whether the country survives or not, that has taken so long to get public attention. I first wrote about it September, 2002.

By the time the SPP summit has come and gone and the fall political season begins, deep integration, the most treacherous plan for the country yet devised by Bay Street, will be increasingly exposed.

And by the next election, we could see a repeat of the great "free trade" election of 1988. This time we have to win.
